"I am personally quite excited about going to Canberra at the end of this year for several reasons. First, I'm going to get the chance to set a new hovercraft speed record which was set in 1995. Second, we are going to have the first ever world championship endurance race that should really be an attraction to both professional and amateur racers since they'll compete on an even playing course, based on handicapping. Third, the chance to meet some of the hovercraft pioneers from the original race in 1964 will be something that I will truly enjoy.

The growth of hovercraft use in the last ten years has been spectacular, but this is just the beginning. I predict that hovercraft for both commercial and pleasure use will expand into every corner of the world, and people everywhere will get the opportunity to see what a great experience it is."

Following on, as it does, from our own biennial World Hovercraft Championship, this year in Germany , HoverWorld Expo promises to make 2004 a very memorable year for hovercraft."

Hovercraft picture"I was absolutely enthralled by you blokes strutting your stuff in 1964. What a wonderful and enlightening thing for those times. (I was 14 years old.) Like so many pioneers before us all, you blokes had what it takes to have a go. I thank you for all your futuristic thinking and giving good old Aussie yet another "World First." The up and coming Canberra hovercraft race would not be occurring if it were not for you. Look for the distinctive 2003 Viper 4X Hover below and you shall find me at HoverWorld Expo. The place to be this December and for New Year's Eve, what a time it is going to be! See ya all there! Are you going.........I am! "
All my very best,

"I'm quite keen to go to the Ausralian event at the end of the year and was hoping that you could give me info regarding it. Might have a go at that speed record perhaps!"

"My father and I are planning to attend the HoverWorld Expo endurance race at the end of this year with a whole new hovercraft that is in the works right now with some out-of-this-world drive train concepts, exterior roll support concepts, and a one-off new duct/steering design. We are not going to be able to make WHC2004 in Germany but are shooting for Australia and I was wondering who else was planning to attend the event?"
