HoverWorld Expo 2004 has been cancelled

With great regret, the World Hovercraft Organization and Australian Hovercraft Federation announces that the National Capital Authority in Canberra has declined the opportunity to stage HoverWorld Expo 2004, requiring the cancellation of this important event. Click here for details.

Within the period of one hour, the Hovercraft must make two passes in either direction, along a 4k water course at maximum speed. A certified timing system will be used to determine the World's Fastest Hovercraft. The current world speed record of 85.376 mph is held by Bob Windt from Cordova, Illinois, USA. If this can be broken by 10 mph, Neoteric will award a $10,000 US prize to the fastest pilot.
