the period of one hour, the Hovercraft must make two passes in
either direction, along a 4k water course at maximum speed. A
certified timing system will be used to determine the World's
Fastest Hovercraft. The current world speed record of
85.376 mph is held by
Bob Windt from Cordova, Illinois, USA. If this can be broken
by 10 mph, Neoteric will award a $10,000 US prize to the fastest
pilot. |
